Not really throwing shade IMO, it’s just a fact. That’s be like if Rare made a game and said from the creators of Donkey Kong Country, that wouldn’t be throwing shade at Retro Studios just because they made Returns and Tropical Freeze. It’s just a fact.

But considering the current fallout and Bethesda situation I thought it seemed to be obsidians way of saying that they were the ones to follow if you wanted the new fallout, even if it’s not technically fallout. This has as much to back it up as the developers for Wasteland 2 are the creators of Fallout. The fact that 2 staff members worked on one previous iteration doesn't prove anything.
